Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am proud to present my second - round entry for the Prima Ribbonista
May Arts Design team. I am thrilled with excitement as I post this project because
May Arts has been my dream company since the day I had started crafting. Two years ago when I was crafting in India, it was impossible for me to get
May Arts products because of our poor economy and high custom duty taxes. Now that I live in the USA, I am extremely happy to not only be able to purchase
May Arts products but to also apply for their Design Team. I am extremely elated and excited to make it to the second level. Thankyou
May Arts for this wonderful opportunity. Its a dream come true.
Let me tell you all about what I have made.I have created an altered banner in shabby chic style using several gorgeous trims from May Arts. I chose to make a banner in order to showcase the many varieties of ribbons May Arts has to offer. The word DREAM on the bannerpersonifies my dream to be a May Arts Design Team member. I used various shades of pink and cream. I loved creating the fairy using beads and May Arts trims. It added a special touch to the project. In the video you will also see me making different kinds of embellishments using a variety trims. For the shabby chic theme I was going for, I felt it best to use products like their sheer ribbons (silky crush being my favorite), some of their beautiful diamond chains, and of course the shabby chic frayed flowers trims. What I love the most about May Arts is the versatility of their products - that they have products for crafters of all styles inlcuding paper crafters, seamstresses, floral/ home decor/fashion designers etc. Here are some pictures to inspire you.
