Traditions !

Hello peeps !
I have tried something new  this time .. 
It completely about my tradition ! Two days back i visited my village to see my grandmother where are saw few things can never change .. like the well and ladies digging out water from it !
inspired from this family tradition .. i have crafted a well with a container which takes out water !
It took a lot time to make this .. consumed one entire day !
I thank Mistyrose for making me make this project for her blog hop ! 
I love the way it has turned out ! 
This tradition is important to my family as well as country . There was a time when there was no water tap or pump .. and even if it was it was for high rich society ! 
My grandparents were very poor .. he use to earn 2cents  a day and my grandmother taught my dad . She tried her best to educate my dad . Today my Dad is a doctor and all goes to my grandparents ! 
Misty thanx ! Your challenge made me think other way down ! I gave me time to introspect ! 
I hope you all will like my project !

Now about Holi .. 


Holi - the festival of colors - is undoubtedly the most fun-filled and boisterous of Hindu festival. It's an occasion that brings in unadulterated joy and mirth, fun and play, music and dance, and, of course, lots of bright colors!With winter neatly tucked up in the attic, it's time to come out of our cocoons and enjoy this spring festival. Every year it is celebrated on the day after the full moon in early March and glorifies good harvest and fertility of the land. It is also time for spring harvest. The new crop refills the stores in every household and perhaps such abundance accounts for the riotous merriment during Holi. 
During Holi, practices, which at other times could be offensive, are allowed. Squirting colored water on passers-by, dunking friends in mud pool amidst teasing and laughter, getting intoxicated on bhaang and reveling with companions is perfectly acceptable. In fact, on the days of Holi, you can get away with almost anything by saying, "Don't mind, it's Holi!
People play with Color Water guns .. it is called pichkari here!

Lucky me again !

OMG !
I just can't believe my eyes .. i got like hundreds of amazing things by my secret sweetheart Karuna di .
It got a little late becuase of inadequate address
As m here in hostel so i cudnt see my card and the goodies . I made dem shipped to my home in gorakhpur because my college can steal my courier anytime !
I am going home for holi so i was expecting to see my packet only after that .. but thanx to karuna di .. she had pictures ready with her .. so courtesy her blog i will show you my lucky goodies !

Tomorrow I have my seminar .. and m really worried about it .. I was about to cry and den mansi di called and she broke the news .. N YES ! My eyes were wide open when i saw this .

Hey peeps !

We Indian Crafters have this new event called " A week in cards " going on . 

In This we are suppose to post one card everyday for next seven days . 

This is a trio which I made using just one A4 patterned paper . 

I have used stamping and the most basic supplies !
